SCoR GM Conducts Intensive Inspection of Tirupati Railway Station

Tirupati, June 13 (TNT): South Coast Railway (SCoR) General Manager Sandeep Mathur conducted an intensive inspection of Tirupati Railway Station on Saturday to review infrastructure development works, passenger amenities and ongoing projects in the newly formed railway zone.

The visit marked Mathur’s first inspection of the section after the formation of the South Coast Railway Zone. Following an extensive review of the Vijayawada–Gudur–Tirupati section, the General Manager continued his inspection at Tirupati station.

During the visit, he reviewed the progress of the ongoing station redevelopment project and assessed various infrastructure and passenger amenity works being undertaken at the station.

He inspected the circulating area, lifts, escalators, platforms, concourse and other passenger facilities, besides interacting with construction officials.

Emphasising the importance of timely execution, Mathur directed officials to expedite the ongoing works and ensure their early completion while maintaining quality standards.

Later, officials of the Guntakal Division made a detailed presentation on the status of ongoing projects, developmental activities, operational achievements and future plans of the division.

The General Manager was accompanied by Principal Chief Engineer B.S.K. Rajkumar, Principal Chief Signal and Telecom Engineer O.B. Suresh Kumar, Principal Chief Operations Manager Vineet Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer Ankush Gupta of South Coast Railway and Guntakal Divisional Railway Manager Chandrasekhar Gupta.
