AP CM Naidu Focuses on Gen Z, Gen Alpha and Future Technologies at Mahanadu 2026
Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh), May 27 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party National President N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday laid strong emphasis on youth, technology and next-generation opportunities, with a special focus on Gen Z and Gen Alpha.while addressing the inaugural session of the party’s annual two-day conclave, Mahanadu 2026, in Mangalagiri.
In a forward-looking address, the Chief Minister directly referred to Gen Alpha and teenagers, indicating that the government’s long-term vision is being shaped around the aspirations of younger generations expected to define Andhra Pradesh’s future workforce, innovation ecosystem and digital economy over the next two decades.
With the oldest members of Gen Alpha now entering their teenage years, Chandrababu Naidu said policy-making must align with the thinking, ambitions and career aspirations of emerging generations.
The Chief Minister identified artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technology, semiconductors, aerospace, electronics, automobiles, entrepreneurship and future-ready employment as key pillars of Andhra Pradesh’s development strategy.
He said Andhra Pradesh would emerge as a major destination for AI, space technology, semiconductors, aerospace, electronics and advanced manufacturing, while simultaneously encouraging youth to pursue entrepreneurship and innovation-driven careers.
Initiatives such as “One Family – One Entrepreneur”, startup promotion, Mega DSC recruitment, job creation targets and investments in emerging sectors were highlighted as part of the government’s roadmap to generate large-scale opportunities for the youth.
Chandrababu Naidu also projected the TDP as a political movement focused on long-term generational transformation rather than short-term electoral considerations.
“The Telugu Desam Party does not work merely for the next election. It works for the next generation,” he added.
