Tirupati: Lord Govinda blessed devotees on Kalpavriksha Vahanam
Tirupati, May 26 (TNT): As part of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Lord Govindaraja Swamy blessed devotees on Kalpavriksha Vahanam on Tuesday morning.
Devotees witnessed the divine procession amid Govinda namasmarana, mangala vadyams and spiritual fervour in the temple streets.
The Lord, symbolising the celestial wish-fulfilling Kalpavriksha, showered blessings on devotees and fulfilled their wishes.
Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed grandly in the morning with milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and fragrant ingredients amid Vedic chants.
Sarvabhoopala Vahanam will be held from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, conveying the divine message of dharma and righteous governance.
The grand Garuda Seva will be observed on May 27 from 7pm to 10pm with a large turnout of devotees expected.
Several officers, Srivari Sevaks, a large number of devotees participated in the event.
