AP: TDP to hold daily ‘Praja Vedika’ at NTR Bhavan, Mangalagiri for Public Grievance Redressal

Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 3 TNT): In a move aimed at strengthening direct public outreach and reinforcing its governance narrative, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Tuesday announced that a ‘Praja Vedika (Public Grievance Redressal Platform)’ will be conducted daily at its central office, NTR Bhavan, in Mangalagiri.

The decision has been taken as per the directions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu , reflecting the party leadership’s focus on direct engagement with citizens and addressing grassroots issues through an institutional mechanism.

Under the programme, public petitions and representations will be received from people across the state on a daily basis.

However, no grievance meeting will be held at NTR Bhavan on Fridays, as constituency-level grievance redressal programmes are conducted on the same day under the leadership of respective MLAs.

The party also announced that Praja Vedika will not be held on certain dates due to key administrative and legislative engagements. These include a conference with district collectors on February 8, Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions on February 15 and 22, and the Pedala Sevalo – Pension Distribution Programme on February 28.

Senior ministers, party leaders, and heads of various corporations and boards will participate in the programme on different days through February.

Beginning February 4, the schedule includes cabinet ministers, politburo members, central office-bearers, MLAs, MLCs, mayors, and chairpersons of state corporations, underscoring the party’s effort to project accessibility, accountability, and collective leadership.

Party leaders said the initiative is part of TDP’s broader political strategy to maintain continuous public connect, ensure quicker grievance resolution, and reinforce its commitment to responsive governance ahead of key political milestones in the state.
