TTD Expands Summer Facilities for Devotees Visiting Tirumala

Tirumala, May 8 (TNT): To ensure the comfort and convenience of thousands of devotees visiting Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple during the ongoing summer vacation season, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made extensive arrangements including accommodation, resting halls, free locker services, bathing facilities and other amenities in Tirumala and Tirupati.

In a release here on Friday, TTD stated that numerous resting complexes, rooms and pilgrim accommodation centres have been established for devotees visiting the hill shrine.

According to TTD, devotees seeking accommodation in Tirumala must first register their Aadhaar card number and mobile phone number at the CRO General Counter.

Once registered, room allotment details and location information are sent to devotees through SMS.

Devotees are then required to visit the concerned Sub-Enquiry Office, complete payment through UPI or card, and take possession of the allotted room.

TTD stated that due to limited space in Tirumala, only about 7,800 accommodation rooms are available and priority is being given to families. Rooms are not allotted to single individuals or unmarried couples.

For devotees unable to secure rooms, TTD has established five Pilgrim Amenities Complexes (PACs) in Tirumala where devotees can avail free lockers and resting facilities by registering their Aadhaar and mobile number.

Located opposite Govardhan Choultry near the CRO, the complex has four halls and 1,256 lockers. Due to renovation works, 870 lockers are currently available. Free Annaprasadam is provided here.

Situated opposite the Balaji Bus Stand, the complex has 12 halls and 3,300 lockers. Facilities include free Annaprasadam, tonsuring services, a first-aid centre and resting areas.

Located on the Outer Ring Road between GNC Toll Gate and Rambhagicha Bus Stand, the facility consists of nine halls and 1,420 lockers along with tonsuring facilities.

Situated within the Balaji Bus Stand premises, the centre contains three halls and 960 lockers with bathing, locker and resting facilities.

This modern facility, located behind the CRO, was inaugurated on September 25, 2025, by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The complex includes 16 halls and 2,400 lockers along with free Annaprasadam, tonsuring, first-aid services and resting facilities.

TTD said a total of 9,336 lockers are available free of cost across the five pilgrim accommodation complexes for devotees to safely store their belongings.

The centres are also equipped with free hot-water bathing facilities, toilets, sleeping mats, blankets, free food distribution, hair offering facilities and first-aid services.

TTD appealed to devotees to utilise the accommodation complexes responsibly and requested them to vacate rooms and lockers immediately after darshan to help accommodate other pilgrims visiting the shrine.
