Amaravati, Feb 3 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday described the India–United States trade agreement as a historic milestone that would contribute significantly to global economic stability.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Naidu said the pact reflects a visionary approach aimed at sustaining global growth.
The CM congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for successfully concluding the landmark trade agreement with the United States.
He noted that the reduction of tariffs to 18 per cent would further strengthen ties between the world’s two largest democracies.
The Chief Minister stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is steadily consolidating its role as a global economic powerhouse.
He added that the agreement would significantly enhance the competitiveness of Indian exports in international markets.
Highlighting its broader impact, Naidu said the historic trade pact would create immense opportunities for youth and farmers across the country, including in Andhra Pradesh.
He emphasized that the agreement marks a crucial step toward inclusive economic growth and stronger global trade partnerships.
