BSE Clears Majority of Investor Grievances in January; Pending Cases Remain at Select Bluechips

Hyderabad,Feb 3 (TNT) In a positive signal for investor protection and market governance, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday said it has resolved 136 investor complaints during January 2026.

The exchange received 142 complaints against 92 listed companies during the month, with resolutions also covering cases carried forward from previous periods, a release said here.

Despite the improved resolution rate, a few large-cap companies continue to have investor grievances pending for over a month as of January 31, 2026. These include JSW Steel Limited with eight pending complaints, Allcargo Logistics Ltd with six, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. with four.

Market experts note that timely grievance redressal is increasingly viewed as a key indicator of corporate governance and investor confidence, especially amid heightened scrutiny by regulators and stakeholders.
