AP CM to lay foundation for renewable photovoltaic plant in Anakapalle Dist. on April 23

Anakapalle, Apr 21 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is  scheduled to perform bhoomi puja for a renewable photovoltaic plant at Gajareddypalem in Rambilli mandal in the district on April 23.

Ahead of Naidu’s visit to Anakapalle district on Thursday, District senior police officials on Tuesday reviewed security and logistical arrangements.

Visakha Range IG Gopinath Jetti, along with District Collector Vijay Krishnan and SP Tuhin Sinha, conducted a review meeting and directed officials to strictly follow Advanced Security Liaison (ASL) protocols.

Officials were instructed to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the helipad, venue and along the route of the Chief Minister’s movement.

They were also asked to maintain strict vigilance and monitor suspicious persons.

Police said traffic restrictions would be imposed to ensure smooth movement of the CM’s convoy and security teams, while making efforts to minimise inconvenience to the general public attending the programme.

Authorities emphasised the need for close coordination among departments and strict adherence to protocol during the visit.
