Hyderabad, Apr 11 (TNT): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Saturday paid tribute to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule on the occasion of his birth anniversary, describing him as a visionary reformer who dedicated his life to equality, justice and education.
In a message, the Governor said Phule was a pioneer in championing the rights of women and marginalised communities and transformed education into a powerful tool for social empowerment.
He said that as the country enters the bicentennial year of Phule’s birth, his legacy continues to inspire society towards inclusive progress and social harmony.
