Hyderabad, Apr 9 (TNT): Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday paid floral tributes to former BJP leader Ale Narendra on the occasion of his 12th death anniversary.
He recalled his contributions to the Telangana movement, labour rights and public life.
Speaking after offering tributes, Rao described Ale Narendra as a senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, former Member of Parliament, former MLA and a prominent figure in the Telangana Movement, who fought tirelessly for the cause of Telangana.
He said Ale Narendra would always be remembered for his distinguished and leading role in the Telangana movement and his service as a parliamentarian and Union Minister.
Recalling his work as a trade union leader, the BJP leader said Ale Narendra played a key role in labour movements connected with Kagaznagar and Sirpur Mills, and worked relentlessly for the welfare and rights of workers.
He further said that during periods of communal tension in Hyderabad, Ale Narendra stood firmly by Hindus in the Old City and opposed communal polarisation.
Rao stated that Ale Narendra’s ideals continue to inspire thousands of party workers in Hyderabad and said many BJP karyakartas are carrying forward the party’s work by drawing inspiration from his life and leadership.
Raosaid his courage, fighting spirit and dedication should serve as an inspiration to every party worker.
