Tripura Holds Investors’ Roadshow in Hyderabad, Secures Rs 2,500 Cr MoUs

Hyderabad, Apr 7 (TNT): The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Tripura on Tuesday organised the “Destination Tripura – Business Meet 2026” investors’ roadshow in Hyderabad as part of its investment promotion efforts ahead of the upcoming business conclave.

The roadshow, aimed to engage prospective investors, industry representatives and institutional stakeholders, showcasing Tripura’s industrial ecosystem, infrastructure growth and sector-specific opportunities.

The event is part of preparations for the Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026 scheduled to be held in Agartala on May 14–15.

Industries & Commerce Secretary Kiran Gitte said the state is strengthening ease of doing business through policy reforms, simplified procedures and time-bound approvals, and invited industry players to explore long-term investment opportunities.

Industries & Commerce Director Dr Deepak Kumar highlighted opportunities across sectors including IT and digital services, healthcare, tourism, agri and food processing, renewable energy, real estate, handloom and manufacturing.

The programme featured presentations and audio-visual films, followed by one-to-one business-to-government (B2G) interactions with investors.

Officials said the roadshow resulted in about 50 Letters of Intent (LoIs) and MoUs worth over ₹2,500 crore across multiple sectors.
