Amaravati, Apr 7 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday condemned the alleged attempt by individuals associated with the YSR Congress Party to attack the ABN–Andhra Jyothi office in Hyderabad, terming it undemocratic.
In a statement, Pawan Kalyan said it was unacceptable for YSRCP leaders to resort to such actions merely because they disagreed with the analysis made by Andhra Jyothi Managing Director Vemuri Radhakrishna.
He said that if there were differences over the remarks, they should be addressed through democratic means rather than through protests or attacks.
Recalling past incidents, Pawan Kalyan alleged that the party had earlier attacked the Telugu Desam Party office during its tenure in power, causing damage to property.
He asserted that such actions must be condemned by all those who believe in democracy and uphold the freedom of the press.
