Hyderabad, Feb 1 (TNT):: Welcoming the Union Budget 2026–27, Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Sunday termed it a “people’s budget without any burden on citizens,” saying it reflects the Centre’s commitment to inclusive growth.
In a statement, he said the Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is a decisive step towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Highlighting Telangana’s importance, Rao noted that the proposed high-speed rail corridors for Hyderabad would reinforce the state’s role as a key national growth hub.
Describing the Budget as transformative, he said it strengthens Atmanirbhar Bharat by boosting domestic manufacturing and local industry.
Rao added that sustained policy direction has enabled India to maintain around 7% growth while making historic gains in poverty reduction.
He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister for a people-centric Budget focused on the welfare of the poor, farmers, women, and youth, expressing confidence that it would accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation
