New Delhi, Apr 2 (TNT): The Indian Army has extended the last date for registration for Recruitment Year 2027 to April 10, 2026, providing an additional opportunity for aspiring candidates to apply.
The recruitment notification, originally issued on February 13, 2026, had set April 1, 2026, as the deadline for applications, a defence release said here on Thursday.
The extension is intended to facilitate greater participation from eligible youth who were unable to complete their registration within the stipulated time.
Candidates have been advised to utilise the extended window and complete their application process well before the revised deadline through the official website.
Applicants are also urged to carefully verify their eligibility criteria, including age, educational qualifications and physical standards, on the official portal.
The Indian Army reiterated its commitment to offering equal opportunities to the nation’s youth through a fully automated, fair and transparent recruitment process.
It also cautioned candidates against touts or fraudulent agents claiming to influence the selection process, emphasising that recruitment is strictly merit-based and that no intermediaries have any role.
