Divine Grace of Lord Sri Rama on Temple Float in Tirupati

Tirupati (AP), Apr 1 (TNT) :  Devotees witnessed a spiritually uplifting spectacle on Tuesday night as Lord Sri Rama, along with Sita and Lakshmana, graced the temple float during the Teppotsavam at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati.

On the second day of the float festival, the deities were taken on the sacred float which circumambulated the Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini seven times, blessing the assembled devotees.

Earlier in the day, rituals began with Suprabhata Seva, followed by Tomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana.

The Snapan Tirumanjanam was later performed for Sri Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita and Lakshmana using milk, curd, honey, sandal paste and coconut water as per tradition.

In the evening, the deities were taken in a procession to the Pushkarini.

The float, adorned with decorative electric illumination, carried the deities smoothly across the waters, drawing devotional fervour as it completed seven rounds.

Temple Deputy Executive Officer Nagaratna, Temple Inspector Suresh and a large number of devotees were present.
