Hyderabad, Mar 31 (TNT) : Delhi, Kerala, Goa and Mizoram recorded wins in the men’s section of the 74th B.N. Mullick Memorial All India Police Football Championship on Tuesday.
Delhi defeated Tamil Nadu in Group G, while Kerala overcame Jammu & Kashmir.
In Group E, Goa registered a 4-0 win over Haryana, while the match between Himachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands ended in a draw. Mizoram beat Madhya Pradesh 4-1 in Group H.
In the women’s category, Assam Rifles defeated Tamil Nadu 2-0, CRPF beat SSB 2-1, and Manipur registered a 4-0 victory over Maharashtra.
The tournament is being held in Hyderabad from March 23 to April 5, featuring teams from state police forces and central armed units across the country.
