Tirupati, Mar 30 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday stressed the need to reduce economic disparities and promote social responsibility.
Addressing the P4 annual celebrations at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam here , Naidu said all sections of society must take responsibility to bridge inequalities, adding that those who have benefited should come forward to support the underprivileged.
The Chief Minister said financial assistance alone is not enough and emphasised the need for sustained mentorship and guidance to help disadvantaged sections improve their standard of living.
Highlighting the P4 initiative, he said it aims to promote inclusive development and enhance the quality of life of the poor.
Naidu said the programme, which has completed one year, has taken a step towards social transformation, and added that the government is planning measures to address future challenges.
He urged citizens to contribute towards the welfare of the poor, stating that such efforts would strengthen social cohesion and collective progress.
