Royal Enfield Crosses 1 Mn YTD Sales, Strengthens Growth Momentum in FY26

Chennai, Feb 1 (TNT)  : Royal Enfield on Sunday said it has achieved a major business milestone by crossing 1 million year-to-date (YTD) motorcycle sales in just 10 months, reinforcing its position as a key growth driver for parent Eicher Motors Ltd..

The company reported January 2026 sales of 1,04,322 units, registering a 14% year-on-year (YoY) growth.

The performance reflects sustained demand in the mid-size motorcycle segment, supported by strong domestic volumes and a steadily expanding export footprint.

Domestic sales rose 16% YoY to 93,781 units, while exports grew 5% YoY to 10,541 units. On a cumulative basis, YTD volumes stood at 10,25,420 units, marking a 25% growth over the previous year, the company said in a release..

Royal Enfield’s management attributed the consistent double-digit growth to a balanced portfolio strategy, operational scale-up, and deeper consumer engagement.

Crossing 100,000 export units in the current financial year signals improving traction in international markets, aiding revenue diversification and margin stability.

The company continues to invest in: Product refresh cycles, including the updated Goan Classic 350, aimed at sustaining demand and improving average realizations.

Brand ecosystem expansion, with structured rider-training initiatives such as Gymkhana, enhancing long-term customer loyalty.

Digital and lifestyle partnerships, positioning the brand beyond traditional automotive touchpoints and strengthening recall among younger consumers.

With strong order inflows, expanding exports, and continuous investments in brand and product differentiation, Royal Enfield is well-placed to maintain growth momentum through the remainder of FY26.

The milestone underscores its strategic importance within Eicher Motors’ portfolio and its role in driving volume-led as well as value-led growth in India’s premium motorcycle segment.
