Hyderabad, Mar 29 (TNT): Dominant performances marked Sunday’s matches in the B.N. Mallik Memorial All India Police Football Championship underway in Hyderabad, with several teams registering emphatic victories.
In the women’s section, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) recorded a massive 20–0 win over Jharkhand to remain unbeaten, while Odisha defeated Manipur 6–1.
In the men’s category, Kerala outclassed Karnataka 7–0, and Maharashtra secured a 6–1 victory over Jharkhand.
Mizoram beat Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) 2–0, while Tripura defeated Uttarakhand by the same scoreline. Manipur edged past Border Security Force 2–1 in a closely contested match.
Meanwhile, the CISF-Sikkim match ended in a goalless draw.
The tournament, featuring police teams from across the country, is being held at multiple venues in the city and will continue until April 5.
