Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): The Government of Telangana on Thursday said that fuel and LPG supply across the state remains stable, with adequate stocks being maintained to meet public demand.
According to an official data released by the Government, the average daily supply of petrol stands at 5,883 kilolitres (KL), while diesel supply averages 7,348 KL. On March 25, petrol supply was recorded at 10,799.5 KL and diesel at 11,327.5 KL.
The total average daily fuel supply in the state is 13,231 KL, while the combined supply on March 25 stood at 22,127 KL.
The government said it is ensuring robust availability of fuel across all outlets and appealed to citizens not to panic, assuring uninterrupted supply.
In a separate update, the state government said domestic LPG supply also remains stable, with no shortage reported.
As per the daily LPG delivery report for March 25, a total of 2,19,980 cylinders were delivered across the state, exceeding the average daily supply of 2,15,151 cylinders.
Among oil marketing companies, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) delivered 92,799 cylinders against an average of 93,000, while Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) supplied 81,979 cylinders compared to an average of 75,151.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) delivered 45,202 cylinders against an average supply of 47,000.
The government cautioned that panic booking could disrupt the delivery system and reiterated that there is no shortage of domestic LPG cylinders in the state.
