Telangana Governor, CM Extend Greetings on Sri Rama Navami

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami.

In his message, the Governor said Sri Rama Navami is celebrated with deep devotion across the country on the auspicious “Punarvasu” nakshatra, marking the birth of Lord Rama, who symbolises righteousness and ideal virtues.

He noted that the celestial Kalyana Mahotsavam of Lord Rama and Sita, observed on the occasion, reflects divine love and harmony, and urged people to draw inspiration from Lord Rama’s life and uphold the path of righteousness.

Extending warm greetings, the Governor wished the festival would bring peace and prosperity to all.

In a separate message, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conveyed his greetings and prayed that, with the blessings of Lord Rama of Bhadrachalam Temple, people across the country lead peaceful and prosperous lives.

He said the state government has prepared a comprehensive master plan for the development of the temple, with an allocation of ₹351 crore—the highest ever—for the project.

The Chief Minister also called for the Sri Rama Navami celebrations to be conducted on a grand scale and directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements are made for the convenience of devotees.
