BJP Telangana Chief Expresses Shock Over AP’s Markapuram Bus Fire Tragedy

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (TNT): Telangana State BJP President N.Ramchander Rao  on Thursday expressed deep shock over the horrific bus accident in Andhra Pradesh in which 13 persons were burnt alive and several others sustained burn injuries.

In a statement, Rao said he was deeply distressed by the tragic road accident that occurred near Markapuram in Prakasam district.

He said it was extremely painful to learn that a private travels bus caught fire after colliding with a tipper near the slate quarries at Rayavaram, resulting in passengers being burnt alive.

He noted that women and children were among the deceased and that the bus had started its journey from Nirmal in Telangana.

Rao extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Markapuram.

He also urged the Andhra Pradesh government to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured.
