Hyderabad, Mar 25 (TNT): KKL Group on Wednesday launched its first electric vehicle (EV) dealership, “DANDU’S Electrical Vehicles”, in Hyderabad, marking its entry into the Telangana market. 
The dealership was inaugurated by former DGP C N Gopinath Reddy, the Chairman of KKL Hitech EV India Pvt Ltd, in the presence of industry and government representatives.
speaking on the occasion, Reddy said the move aligns with India’s push towards clean mobility and aims to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing EV segment, particularly in the two-wheeler category.
KKL plans to expand its dealership network in Telangana by adding around five dealerships per month from FY 2026–27, targeting key cities including Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Khammam, he said the company is also planning to open around 10 dealerships by May 2026, with a target of selling about 200 units per month per dealer.
The EV market in Telangana remains underpenetrated, with electric vehicles accounting for around 1 per cent of total vehicle sales, presenting significant growth opportunities, he said KKL offers a range of electric models including scooters, bikes, auto-loaders and mini cars, priced between ₹50,000 and ₹1.5 lakh, equipped with lithium-ion batteries.
He said the company will focus on strengthening after-sales service, spare parts availability and customer support to drive adoption.
In addition to dealership expansion, KKL is targeting institutional and corporate sales and is exploring plans to set up lithium-ion battery manufacturing and EV charging infrastructure in India,he said.
The company aims to establish over 100 dealerships across South India in FY 2026–27 as part of its growth strategy, he added.
