Ontimitta (Kadapa Dist), Mar 25 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Joint Executive Officer V Veerabrahmam on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for the visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Ontimitta.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to attend the Sri Sitaramula Kalyana Mahotsavam on April 1 as part of the annual Brahmotsavams.
Along with District SP Nachiketa Vishwanath and CVSO Muralikrishna, the JEO inspected the temple premises, Kalyana Mandapam and related facilities, including the CM’s convoy route, guest house, darshan arrangements and Veda blessings.
Officials also reviewed arrangements such as barricading, galleries and counters for distribution of annaprasadam to devotees.
Veerabrahmam directed officials to ensure proper arrangements for the expected turnout of 50,000–60,000 devotees on Sri Rama Navami, including supply of annaprasadam, panakam and vada pappu.
He also instructed that water sprinkling be carried out to mitigate heat conditions and that drinking water bottles be distributed to devotees.
The District SP said around 3,000 police personnel would be deployed to ensure security, with special focus on traffic and parking management to avoid inconvenience to devotees.
Senior officials from TTD and various departments were present during the inspection.
