Celkon-Built ‘Simha Nilayam’ Rest House Inaugurated in Tirumala

Tirumala, Mar 25 (TNT): A newly constructed rest house, ‘Simha Nilayam’, built by Celkon Impex Private Limited, was inaugurated in Tirumala on Wednesday by TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra in the presence of Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary.

Speaking on the occasion, Chowdary said the facility was constructed and handed over to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) under the Cottage Donation Policy.

He said permission has been granted for construction of around 24 rest houses through donors under the policy, of which 16 have already been completed and handed over to TTD.

“This initiative is expected to add around 200 additional rooms for devotees,” he said.

Chowdary added that steps are also being taken to modernise Pilgrim Amenities Complex-1 with improved facilities.

He said efforts are underway to enhance infrastructure and amenities for devotees from all sections visiting Tirumala.

Deputy Executive Officer Bhaskar, Celkon CMD Guruswamy Naidu and other officials were present on the occasion.
