Hyderabad, Mar 19 (TNT): The Central Government has approved a three-month extension in service for Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, an IAS officer of the 1991 batch.
According to an official communication issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday , the extension will be effective from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026.
The approval follows a proposal submitted by the Telangana government and has been granted in relaxation of relevant provisions under the AIS (DCRB) Rules, 1958, by invoking Rule 3 of the AIS (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1960.
