Centre Approves Land Transfer for Mulapeta Port Development: AP CM Naidu

Amaravati, Mar 17 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said the Union Government has approved the transfer of 385.24 acres of salt land at Naupada Salt Factory to the Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board, boosting the development of Mulapeta Port.

In a social media post, Naidu said the move would significantly support the port’s development, particularly in strengthening connectivity and enabling efficient operations.

He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the proposal, describing it as a key step towards strengthening infrastructure in the state.

He also acknowledged the support of Union Minister Piyush Goyal.

Naidu said the Mulapeta Port is poised to emerge as a key logistics hub, aligning with the Centre’s vision of developing ports as engines of economic growth and contributing to a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
