ANKURARPANAM PERFORMED IN SRI KODANDARAMA SWAMY BRAHMOTSAVAMS in Tirupati

Tirupati, March 17 (TNT): The Ankurarpanam ritual for the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavams in Tirupati was performed on Monday night as per traditional way.

Earlier in the morning, the Lord was awakened with Suprabhatam, followed by Thomala Seva and Sahasranamarchana.

In the evening, Veda Parayanam and Prabandha Sattumora were conducted from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Later, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Senadhipati Utsavam, Medini Puja, Mrutsangrahanam, and the Ankurarpanam ritual were performed in accordance with temple traditions.

Tirumala Pedda Jeeyar Swamy,  Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Temple Deputy EO Ms Nagaratna, Temple Chief Priest  A.P. Anand Kumar Dikshitulu, Temple Inspector Suresh, and other officials participated in the programme.

The Brahmotsavams of Kodandarama Swamy began with Dwajarohanam on Tuesday between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM in Mesha Lagnam.

As part of this, Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita and Lakshmana, along with Dhvajapatam and Chakrathalwar, took part in the Tiruveedhi Utsavam from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM.

Later, the Dwajarohanam ceremony performed in the presence of Sri Kodandarama Swamy along with Sita and Lakshmana.
