Hyderabad, Mar 15 (TNT) : Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Sunday met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and formally invited him on behalf of the state government for the Telangana Legislature’s Budget Session beginning on Monday.
During the meeting at Raj Bhavan, the Deputy Chief Minister presented a bouquet to the Governor and honoured him with a shawl.
Finance Department Principal Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Finance and Planning Secretary Gaurav Uppal, Finance Secretary Skitha Patnaik and other officials accompanied the Deputy Chief Minister.
The Budget Session of the Telangana Legislature will commence at 1145 hours on Monday with the Governor addressing a joint sitting of both Houses.
Following the Governor’s address, the House will be adjourned for the day. The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will later meet to decide the duration of the session and finalise the agenda.
The State Budget is scheduled to be presented on March 20.
