Hyderabad, Mar 13 (TNT): Union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy, expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Director General of Police H. J. Dora today.
In a condolence message, Reddy said Dora’s services as DGP of the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh would always be remembered for maintaining law and order with integrity, dedication and administrative efficiency.
He also noted that Dora had served at the national level as Director of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and had rendered notable services to the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Ashram at Puttaparthi.
Reddy said Dora continued contributing to police reforms even after retirement and described his passing as a great loss to the police fraternity.
The Union Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
