Hyderabad, Mar 13 (TNT): The ICFAI Business School Hyderabad on Friday organised the 12th IBS Conference on Marketing and Business Strategy (ICOMBS-2026) on March 13–14 with the theme “AI-Driven Sustainability: Innovating for a Better Tomorrow.”
Swetha Keesara, Managing Director at Accenture, attended the inaugural session as chief guest, while Amir Ullah Khan, Member of the Telangana Public Service Commission, delivered the keynote address.
The conference was inaugurated by T. Koti Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, while K. S. Venu Gopal Rao, Director of ICFAI Business School Hyderabad, highlighted the importance of academic forums in strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
In her address, Keesara highlighted key aspects shaping the age of artificial intelligence, including designing for the future, reimagining business landscapes, stronger governance for AI, responsible AI and AI literacy.
She noted that AI is playing a critical role in sectors such as healthcare and insurance by improving operational efficiency and streamlining processes.
Khan, in his keynote speech, spoke about the role of AI in strengthening the relationship between propositional and prescriptive knowledge and stressed the importance of sustainable and sustained growth.
He said the role of the state should be to remove barriers to growth while avoiding monopolies that hinder innovation.
Praveen Reddy, Designated Partner at Play N Thrive Sports Arena, speaking as a sponsor, said AI transformation offers new opportunities and urged professionals to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
The two-day conference features workshops, panel discussions and about 85 research papers across 17 technical sessions, with participation from scholars and industry professionals from institutions in India and abroad.
