Cyient Limited Appoints Prabhakar Atla as COO, Shrinivas Kulkarni as CFO Effective April 1

Hyderabad, Mar 4 (TNT) :Cyient Limited on Wednesday announced the appointment of Prabhakar Atla as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Shrinivas Kulkarni as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 1, 2026, as part of leadership changes aimed at driving the company’s next phase of growth.

In a release, the Hyderabad based company said Atla, currently serving as CFO, will transition into the COO role after more than two decades with the engineering services firm. In his new position, he will oversee global operations, focusing on scaling next-generation delivery models, strengthening execution agility and enhancing customer-centric delivery.

Kulkarni, who most recently served as CFO of Cyient DLM, will take over as CFO of Cyient Ltd. He will be responsible for leading the company’s global financial strategy, investor relations and business finance functions to support profitability and long-term stakeholder value.

The appointments align with the company’s strategy to strengthen its performance-driven operating model under its “Embracing Intelligence” framework, which integrates human knowledge, domain expertise and technology.

Commenting on the transition, Chief Executive Officer Sukamal Banerjee said the company’s next growth phase requires leaders with deep institutional knowledge and strong execution focus.

He added that Atla’s move to COO reflects his strategic and operational understanding of the business, while Kulkarni’s elevation reinforces the company’s commitment to financial discipline and performance excellence.

Atla said his transition marks “an exciting new chapter” after 20 years at the company, adding that he looks forward to working with global teams to enhance client experience and stakeholder value.

Kulkarni said finance will play a pivotal role as Cyient accelerates its AI-led growth strategy, supporting strategic investments and profitability.
