Revanth invites industries to Kodangal, promises major industrial hub
Kodangal, Nov 7 (TNT) : Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday invited industrialists to set up industries in Kodangal, asserting that the region had immense potential to emerge as a major industrial destination.
Addressing industrialists at the launch of the Rural Agri-Region Economy (RARE) Industrial Hub, he said transforming Kodangal into a major industrial hub was his dream and assured investors of all necessary infrastructure and government support.
He announced that the radial road connecting Shamshabad with Kodangal would be completed by December 2027, reducing travel time to around 70 minutes. Proximity to an international airport and improved road connectivity would make the region an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, he said.
The Chief Minister interacted with nearly 100 industrialists representing aerospace, defence, green technology, renewable energy, steel, copper, textiles and agro-based industries, besides various industrial associations.
He virtually inaugurated the RARE Industrial Hub, NARI (Network of Apparel Readiness and Infrastructure) Park, THRIVE Hub and RISE (Regional Industries and Small Enterprises) initiative.
Revanth Reddy said Kodangal, along with Chandanvelli, Sitarampur and Parigi, was poised for significant industrial growth. Its strategic location, close to Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, offered additional advantages for industrial development.
The government was also developing a Kodangal Education Hub across 250 acres to establish educational institutions and create employment opportunities for future generations, he said.
Emphasising industry-oriented skill development, the Chief Minister said Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) were being established in all Assembly constituencies in collaboration with Tata Technologies. Students would receive industry-specific training through the Young India Skills University, he added.
Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Damodara Raja Narasimha, MLAs, public representatives and senior officials attended the programme.
