At a review meeting held at the Sudharma Meeting Hall here, along with Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) Murali Krishna, he instructed officials to make elaborate arrangements in view of the expected heavy influx of pilgrims.
Referring to last year’s arrangements, during which 7.83 lakh devotees had darshan, he asked officials to make similar arrangements this year to facilitate pilgrims.
He directed officials to allot Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens through online electronic dip (e-DIP) for the first three days to facilitate darshan for ordinary devotees, while Sarva Darshan would be provided during the remaining seven days.
Special arrangements would also be made for Sarva Darshan on December 25 in view of Srivari Abhishekam, he said.
The Additional EO instructed officials to continuously monitor queue lines through the Integrated Command and Control Centre and take steps to ensure speedy darshan for common devotees.
CVSO Murali Krishna said elaborate security and parking arrangements would be made, particularly during the last seven days, anticipating a heavy rush of devotees.
