Hyderabad, Jan 27 (TNT): Asia’s largest civil aviation event, Wings India 2026, is set to be inaugurated tomorrow at Begumpet Airport, showcasing India’s rapidly expanding aviation sector and its growing strategic importance on the global stage.
The four-day event will bring together global aerospace companies, government officials, and industry leaders, with Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu attending the inauguration and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing participants virtually.
Key highlights of the opening day include the opening of the static display area, exhibition walk-throughs, an inaugural session, an aerial show, and the Wings India Awards 2026.
Delegations from countries such as the United States, UK, France, Germany, Russia, Qatar, and Iran are expected to participate, reflecting India’s rising profile in global civil aviation.
Visitors can expect aircraft displays, aerobatic performances by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team, drone demonstrations, and forums focused on investment, innovation, and policy dialogue.
The event will continue through January 31, 2026, offering extensive opportunities for networking and insights into the future of civil aviation in India and the region.
