NAREDCO Telangana Property Show attracts 75 developers, showcases over 500 projects
The exhibition brought together five financial institutions and 10 allied industry participants, offering homebuyers and investors a range of apartments, villas, plotted developments and commercial properties across different locations and price segments.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy, who attended the valedictory ceremony, said India had entered the top 30 in the Global Real Estate Transparency Index 2026 and was the most improved market in the Asia-Pacific region.
Real estate currently contributed seven per cent to India’s GDP and its share was projected to rise to 13 per cent by 2030, he said, adding that growing investor confidence reflected the sector’s potential.
Reddy urged developers and other stakeholders to view housing not merely as a business involving land, buildings and transactions, but as a sector linked to people’s aspirations, stressing that homes should be affordable and accessible to every family.
NAREDCO Telangana President Sreedhar Reddy Koppula said rising construction material costs and the 18 per cent GST on commercial and rental properties were posing challenges to the real estate industry.
He urged the government to consider relief measures and revise certain regulatory provisions to give developers adequate time to complete projects without interruptions.
He said policy support and suitable adjustments would help the real estate sector sustain growth and contribute to the country’s development goals.
The exhibition provided an opportunity for developers, financial institutions, industry stakeholders and prospective buyers to interact directly and assess property options, while reflecting changing consumer preferences and market trends, the organisers said.
