Vijayawada, Feb 27 (TNT): Manipal Hospitals Vijayawada has received multiple national recognitions for clinical excellence and patient-centred care across key specialties.
At the 5th Global Healthcare and Wellness Awards held recently at Hyderabad, the hospital was honoured as Best Hospital for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Plastic Surgery.
The awards, presented by Hypedge Network India, recognised excellence in clinical outcomes, infrastructure and patient-focused healthcare delivery, the Hospitals said in a release here on Friday..
Doctors from the Departments of Gastroenterology and Plastic Surgery, along with the Medical Superintendent, received the award on behalf of the hospital.
In addition, the hospital was conferred Excellence in Oncology Services and Excellence in Nephrology and Urology including Kidney Transplantation Services at the Pride of Nation Awards organised by Asia Today Media in Visakhapatnam on Thursday.
The oncology recognition was based on surgical outcomes, adoption of minimally invasive procedures and advanced infrastructure, including high-definition endoscopy systems and modern operation theatres.
Hospital officials said patient-centric initiatives such as real-time grievance redressal through the “Manipal Patient Pulse” system and structured pre-surgical counselling also contributed to the award.
The nephrology and urology award acknowledged the hospital’s expertise in complex kidney transplants, including ABO-incompatible and cadaveric procedures, as well as long-term graft survival outcomes.
The facility is equipped with robotic surgical systems, advanced CRRT modules and dedicated transplant suites, officials said.
Hospital Director Ramanjaneya Reddy J said the recognitions reflect the institution’s commitment to precision-driven, compassionate healthcare.
“These awards reaffirm our focus on improving clinical outcomes while enhancing patient experience,” he added.
