KRAFTON Launches Battlin, a Unified Tournament Platform for Competitive Gaming in India

Hyderabad, Oct. 16 (TNT): Gaming company KRAFTON on Friday announced the launching of  Battlin, a unified tournament platform aimed at making competitive gaming more accessible and organised in India, beginning with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

The platform brings tournament discovery, registration, competition management, result tracking and reward disbursement under one system, the company said in a release.

It seeks to address challenges faced by players and organisers who currently rely on multiple platforms and informal arrangements to conduct tournaments.

Battlin allows players to discover and register for open tournaments without requiring personal connections or invitations.

Reward conditions and disbursement timelines are displayed on the platform before registration, while organisers can manage tournament creation, scheduling, room allocation, participant notifications, results and rewards through a single interface.

The platform is also designed to expand grassroots competitive gaming by enabling individuals, content creators, colleges, gaming cafés and gaming organisations to host tournaments using the same infrastructure.

James Yongkwan Kim, Lead – Battlin at KRAFTON, said the platform aimed to bridge the gap between casual gaming and organised competition by providing players with wider access to tournaments and greater opportunities for recognition.

Battlin has launched with its inaugural competition, Battlin Open Season 1, for which registrations are open until November 1, 2026.

The tournament offers more than 5,000 slots, with competitions beginning on November 2 and the Track 2 finale scheduled for November 29.

The winning team in Track 1 will receive a slot in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) and a prize pool of ₹5 lakh while Track 2 carries a prize pool of ₹15 lakh. Results will be tracked on the platform, with rewards disbursed through its system.

KRAFTON said competitions on Battlin would be decided by players’ skills, with no wagering, staking or betting mechanisms involved.

The company said the platform was intended to create a more structured competitive gaming ecosystem in India by bringing players and tournament organisers together and improving transparency throughout the competition process.
