AP: Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna visit Prasanthi Nilayam during Dasara celebrations
The couple witnessed the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna, which forms the centrepiece of the celebrations, and spent time in the Bhajan Hall amid Vedic chants and prayers.
Vijay Deverakonda, an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, recalled his student days at Prasanthi Nilayam and his participation in the Yajna proceedings during his school years, according to a release.
For Rashmika Mandanna, the visit fulfilled a long-cherished wish to visit the spiritual centre.
She expressed her appreciation for the peaceful atmosphere of the ashram and said the Vedic chants and sacred arati made the visit a memorable experience.
The Dasara celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam are continuing with Vedic rituals and prayers, with devotees gathering to participate in the festivities.
