The President will stay overnight in Vijayawada and inaugurate the National Saras Mela 2026 at Punnami Ghat on Thursday before leaving for New Delhi.
The mela is being organised by the Union Ministry of Rural Development in association with the Andhra Pradesh government.
More than 1,500 women members of self-help groups from over 30 States and Union Territories are participating in the event.
The mela provides a platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase traditional crafts, reach wider markets and sell their products to customers across the country.
