Raymond Accelerates Andhra Pradesh Capacity Expansion to Meet Rising Demand
The move is part of the company’s two-pronged expansion strategy, combining near-term capacity augmentation with a larger greenfield manufacturing project planned in the State to support medium- and long-term growth.
The additional brownfield facility is being developed by a subsidiary of Raymond as an interim capacity enhancement initiative, enabling the company to respond more quickly to customer requirements while maintaining capital and execution discipline, the company said in a release on Monday.
Meanwhile, the planned greenfield project in Andhra Pradesh is progressing as scheduled and is envisaged as a larger manufacturing platform to strengthen the company’s production infrastructure and support future business expansion.
Sanjeev Sharma, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JKMPTL, Raymond Group, said the accelerated expansion reflected strong business momentum and would help the company meet immediate customer requirements while continuing to build capacity for sustained growth.
The brownfield addition is expected to address near-term demand, while the greenfield facility will provide scalable infrastructure to support expanding business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
The company said the combined approach would strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and enable it to pursue growth opportunities while maintaining a capital-efficient expansion strategy.
