Fabience to Invest Rs. 50-Cr in New Furniture Manufacturing Plant Near Hyderabad
Fabience Managing Director Raj Venu Gopal Takkallapally said the proposed facility would strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities and support its domestic and international expansion.
The plant will feature advanced Italian and German machinery and modern manufacturing technologies, with a focus on automation, precision, quality and production efficiency.
It will primarily expand the company’s movable furniture portfolio, including sofas, chairs and loungers, while supporting the growth of its modular furniture business.
Established in 2018, Fabience currently operates a 2 lakh sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, employing around 200 people.
The company has invested approximately Rs. 80 crore in the existing facility, which manufactures modular kitchens, wardrobes, panelling and premium movable furniture.
Company Director Sandeep Polsani said the company’s focus on advanced manufacturing technology, automation and precision differentiated it from competitors.
The existing facility integrates specialised machinery and processes, including polyurethane (PU) lacquer finishing and edge-banding capabilities designed to meet international finishing standards, he said.
Fabience has completed nearly 3,500 projects across residential, commercial and hospitality segments.
Its portfolio includes furniture solutions for hotels and resorts across India, while its business has also expanded into the United States.
The company currently serves customers across 15 Indian states through its business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations.
Company Director Richie Raj Gopal Takkallapally said the company planned to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen its business-to-business presence across India, accelerate exports and broaden its product portfolio.
The company has also increased supplies of premium kitchens, wardrobes and modular furniture to leading furniture and interior showrooms across the country, she said.
Company Director Karan Raj Gopal Takkallapally said the expansion came amid growth prospects in the Indian furniture market, which was estimated at approximately USD 31.5 billion in 2026 and projected to reach USD 45 billion by 2031.
Raj Venu Gopal Takkallapally said the company aimed to build an Indian furniture manufacturing brand capable of competing with global manufacturers in technology, quality, design, precision and scale.
The company would continue investing in advanced technology and expanding its presence in domestic and international markets while maintaining manufacturing standards, he added.
Fabience, specialises in high-precision modular and movable furniture for residential, commercial and hospitality customers in India and international markets, including the United States.
