Telangana Ministers invited to attend TALHealth Fest 2026 in US
Hyderabad, Oct 6 (TNT): Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu have been invited to attend the TALHealth Fest 2026 to be held at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), in San Diego, California, on October 30.
The Ministers have been invited as Distinguished Guests of Honour by the Touch-A-Life Foundation, a US-based nonprofit organisation, which is organising the healthcare-focused event.
TALHealth Fest will bring together healthcare professionals, hospitals, researchers, innovators, technology leaders, pharmaceutical and medical companies, patient advocacy groups, nonprofits and healthcare solution providers to discuss healthcare innovation and accessibility and explore collaboration opportunities, according to the Foundation.
The event will focus on themes including artificial intelligence and personalised medicine, digital healthcare innovations, integrated and holistic care, and global approaches to improving healthcare access.
The invitations come as Telangana is expanding its focus on healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and innovation.
The state government unveiled the Next-Gen Life Sciences Policy 2026-30 in January, focusing on advanced biomanufacturing, biologics, precision medicine, personalised therapies, digital health, diagnostics, medical electronics, clinical research and global innovation centres.
Telangana has also identified healthcare as a priority area for artificial intelligence adoption under its AI strategy and announced plans for a Telangana AI Innovation Hub to promote research, investment and innovation.
The organisers said participation of Telangana’s representatives would add to discussions on healthcare delivery, life sciences, technology and innovation.
