Tablets (India) says no connection with Sri City boiler blast in AP’s Tirupati district

Chennai, Oct 4 (TNT): Tablets (India) Limited on Sunday clarified that it has no factory or manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, and is not connected with the industrial boiler blast reported at TIL Healthcare Private Limited.

In a release, the company said Tablets (India) Limited and TIL Healthcare Private Limited were two separate and independent entities with no common ownership or management.

The company said the clarification was issued to place the facts on record, avoid confusion and ensure accurate communication to the media and the public.

It also conveyed its condolences to the bereaved families and urged the media and public to take note of the distinction between the two companies.

On Saturday, five workers were killed and a woman employee was injured when a two-tonne boiler exploded at the TIL Healthcare Private Limited manufacturing facility in Sri City SEZ in Tirupati district.
