### AP CM Naidu, Minister Lokesh reject Jairam Ramesh’s remarks on Finance Minister’s speech in Madanapalle
Amaravati, Oct 4 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Sunday rejected Congress leader Jairam Ramesh’s remarks that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s speech was disrupted by public anger, saying the gathering had responded with enthusiasm.

Responding to Ramesh’s post on ‘X’, Naidu said the Congress leader’s interpretation of the incident was “far from reality” and alleged that an enthusiastic response from the gathering was being portrayed as public anger.
Naidu said he had briefly intervened during the programme to enable it to continue smoothly amid the enthusiasm of the gathering.
Ramesh had posted on ‘X’ that the Finance Minister was witnessing public anger among the people and that the Chief Minister had to “silence the people”.
Naidu rejected the remarks, saying social media narratives could not alter what people at the gathering had expressed.
In a separate post on ‘X’, Lokesh rejected Ramesh’s claim that the Finance Minister’s speech was disrupted by local youth demanding jobs and termed the allegation false.
Lokesh said there was no disruption of the Finance Minister’s speech and alleged that a normal interaction with an enthusiastic gathering had been clipped and presented with a fabricated narrative.
He urged Ramesh to verify facts before posting such claims on social media.
“Deliberate misinformation is not on. Delete the lie,” Lokesh said.
Lokesh said the video being circulated did not represent any disruption of the Finance Minister’s speech.
