Telangana CM Revanth to receive Aryadan Muhammed Best Public Servant Award in Kerala
Hyderabad, Sept 24 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been selected for the Aryadan Muhammed-2026 Best Public Servant Award, instituted by the Aryadan Muhammed Foundation in memory of late Kerala Congress leader Aryadan Muhammed.
The award will be presented to Reddy at a function in Nilambur, Kerala, on Friday evening, marking the fourth death anniversary of Aryadan Muhammed, an official release said here on Thursday.
According to the Foundation, Revanth was selected in recognition of his leadership and welfare initiatives for farmers, backward classes and other communities in Telangana.
Foundation Working Chairman and Nilambur MLA Aryadan Shoukath announced the selection.
The jury comprised MP Benny Behanan, Kerala Revenue Minister A.P. Anil Kumar and writer and intellectual Kalpetta Narayanan.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, besides a citation and memento.
AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal will deliver the Aryadan Muhammed memorial lecture at the event.
Aryadan Muhammed represented Nilambur in the Kerala Assembly eight times and served as a minister in four state Cabinets.
