TTD warns against fake posts on coconut fibre in Srivari Laddu
Tirumala, Sept 17 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday cautioned devotees against social media posts claiming that coconut fibre was found in the sacred Srivari Laddu Prasadam, terming the posts false and irresponsible.
In a statement, the TTD said the item shown in the photograph being circulated on social media was not Srivari Laddu Prasadam.
The TTD said special care was taken in the preparation of Srivari Laddu Prasadam and appealed to people not to spread false information that could hurt the sentiments of devotees.
The temple body warned that strict legal action would be taken against those spreading false information in connection with the laddu prasadam.
