Rahul Gandhi will become PM after next elections: Telangana Dy CM Bhatti

Hyderabad, Sept 11 (TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday expressed confidence that the Congress would come to power at the Centre after the next elections and Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister.

Participating in a discussion on the Census and caste census in the State Legislative Assembly, Bhatti said a comprehensive Socio-Economic, Educational, Employment and Political Survey would be conducted across the country under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership on the lines of the survey undertaken in Telangana.

He demanded that caste census be mandatorily included in the national Census to identify social inequalities and ensure justice to weaker sections.

Bhatti also asked BJP members to clearly state whether they supported or opposed conducting a caste census.

The findings of the proposed survey would help assess the socio-economic conditions of different communities and formulate future policies and action plans, he added.
