Dy CM Bhatti orders war room, expert panels to fast-track Invest Telangana Summit preparations
Hyderabad, Aug 26(TNT): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday directed officials to establish a dedicated War Room at Praja Bhavan and expedite preparations for the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2026 – Invest Telangana Summit scheduled to be held in December.
Chairing a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan here, Bhatti directed officials to expedite the process of sending invitations to guests for the summit and ensure close monitoring of all preparations.
Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and senior officials attended the meeting.
Bhatti directed the Chief Secretary to strengthen supervision of the War Room under the leadership of a senior officer and ensure regular monitoring of summit-related activities.
He also directed officials to include experts and key officials in various committees constituted for the summit and ensure that each committee completes its assigned responsibilities within a fixed timeline.
The Deputy Chief Minister called for constitution of a special committee to comprehensively review the status and progress of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during the previous Global Summit.
He said extensive domestic and international roadshows should be organised ahead of the December summit to attract investments to Telangana.
Bhatti directed the Chief Secretary to allocate at least one hour every day to review the progress of summit-related works and conduct daily reviews.
He reiterated that the process of inviting guests should be expedited and all summit-related works should be completed according to the prescribed timelines.
