Jr NTR undergoes successful shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (TNT): Telugu actor N T Rama Rao( Jr NTR) underwent successful arthroscopic shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, the hospital said in a health bulletin on Wednesday.

Jr NTR sustained the shoulder injury in late July while filming and, following consultation and follow-up with a team of medical specialists, was advised to undergo arthroscopic surgery for faster and more complete recovery.

The surgery was performed by a team of orthopaedic surgeons led by Dr R A Purnachandra Tejaswi, Dr Nithin Bejjanki, Dr Madhusudan Rao and Dr Srinivas Rao Surapaneni.

The hospital said the procedure was successful and Jr NTR was doing fine.

He will now undergo a structured rehabilitation programme under medical supervision.

Doctors expect him to make a full recovery and return to his normal activities within two to three months, the bulletin added.
